Basic Stamping
On the most basic, rubber stamping is applied by simply pressing the desired stamp image into an ink pad before stamping it on paper. When stamping on paper, it is necessary for every artist to hold the stamps firmly into the material to transfer the image. Careful movements should also be observed to avoid any slides. This should be maintained until you lift the stamp from its material, the paper.
If, for instance, the image is not transferred into the paper successfully, touching up certain lines or portions of the image with the use of a marker or a coloring pen, perhaps, would be great. This is to ensure that no flaws will occur.
