#6: Adhesives
I bet you know what adhesives are for. Well, you can use these materials for holding your embossing powders and glitters in place, for instance. They can also be employed if you want to make collages. The nice thing to note about them is that most of the adhesives are specially crafted to dry clear and to keep any material or shape permanently in a particular place.
The adhesives may come in the form of glues. You can find the glues contained in some specialized bottles or in pens with varying sizes and tip styles. These materials are ideal for calligraphic purposes or for touching up some areas that were not crafted well. Just like the other forms of adhesives, the glues dry easily and even come in different colors.
There are also the double-sided tapes known in the craft industry as the wonder tape. Many rubber stamping enthusiasts use this material specifically for embossing, foiling, and holding some pieces of glitters. What’s nice to know about this wonder tape is that it allows you to emboss the image on it even without its tape forming curves, especially when applied with a heat source. Aside from that, they can hold beads in place permanently, and with a number of widths and styles available, the wonder tape can help you create an elegant border. You can also develop an image with a three-dimensional look through the use of the wonder tape.
